Queen Beez is a program that presents girls, in elementary- through high- school, with an opportunity to uplift and express themselves through song and dance. The program uses Hip-Hop as a vehicle to build self-esteem and public speaking skills, and to address issues young people encounter in their lives.
The girls meet with professional female mentors to learn about important topics such as environment and leadership during weekly workshops. The girls then transfer their new knowledge to their communities by writing, choreographing, and filming positive hip-hop videos with professional recording and film crews.
The girls become involved in strengthening their communities while at the same time becoming invested in their own self-improvement.
In 2016, the Queen Beez program was opened up to young boys with the launch of “Dynasty,” the newest music group and collaboration between both girls and boys.
Music videos recorded through 2017.
Topics explored through mentorship.
