Parade of Sail on Sigsbee

Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park

4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
1417 Thames Street
Baltimore, MD 21231

This is a unique opportunity to see over ten historic schooners as they participate in the Parade of Sail before the Great Chesapeake Bay Schooner Race. Enjoy an exciting evening as the Schooner Race participants parade through the harbor.

The Sigsbee will depart our dock in Fells Point at 4:00pm and the parade officially begins at 5:00pm in the Inner Harbor. Help the crew raise the sails and navigate the boat. Enjoy learning some local history or just relax with your own libations while enjoying the sounds and activity on the Patapsco River. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks.

Sigsbee is a historic Chesapeake Bay Skipjack that dredged oysters for over 80 years and now is used as a platform to teach local area students about the environment and the Chesapeake Bay.

Tickets $35

Please contact us for accommodations for youth under age 8.

Visitors with limited mobility will be accommodated as best as we can. Due to its historic design, this Chesapeake Skipjack is not ADA accessible below decks.  Please contact us to discuss your needs.
