Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and resulting orders from the Baltimore City Government restricting large events, we will not be hosting the Crab Feast this year. We look forward to seeing you at the Fort again when it is safe for all. If you’d like to make a contribution to support virtual learning, please visit our Donation page and Designate your gift to ‘Friends of Fort McHenry.’
Join Living Classrooms and the Friends of Fort McHenry as we feast on Maryland Blue Crabs and Summer BBQ on the sprawling grounds of Fort McHenry with beautiful views of Baltimore’s Harbor. With live music, cold beer, and great company – all to support educational and historic programs for area youth at Fort McHenry! More details to come!
About Friends of Fort McHenry: Our mission, in partnership with the National Park Service, is to support the development and implementation of educational programming and living history activities, and the creation of interpretive exhibits and visitor facilities that best engender the widest possible understanding and appreciation of Fort McHenry and the enduring legacy and promise of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” our National Anthem. The Friends achieve this mission through generous support provided by individuals, businesses, and foundations who value our heritage and the impact that history can have upon our young people.
