Celebrate National Trails Day with the Fort McHenry Paddle Project!

Time slots available all day, each running about 90 minutes.  Space is limited for this FREE PROGRAM, so reserve your spot today!

Choose kayaking or wetlands hike:

Kayaking: Launch a kayak directly from Fort McHenry and paddle a portion of the Star-Spangled Banner National Historic Trail. While paddling, learn local history from National Park Service Rangers.  Tandem (2-person) kayaks and guided instruction provided by Ultimate Watersports. (NOTE – Individual weight limit for kayaks is 225 lbs.)

Wetlands Hike: Explore the amazing wetlands adjacent to the Fort with National Aquarium staff. This hidden treasure is not regularly open to the public!  Follow a trail through the wetlands to a beach where activities include bird watching and catching critters with a sein net.  Binoculars and waders provided.
