Crossroads Students Showcase Project on WEAA

April 3, 2014

On Monday, March 31, Crossroads students appeared on Keep It Moving with Marsha Jews on WEAA Radio along with Paul Geithner, Deputy Project Manager for the James Webb Space Telescope at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. The group of sixth (now seventh) graders talked about their project: a 28-minute video, The First Light Machine, dedicated to the entertaining and informative portrayal of NASA’s 2018 launch of the James Webb Space Telescope. In March, they were invited to Houston, Texas to present their video to scientists, administrators, and contractors from nine different countries, all a part of the week long James Webb Space Telescope Conference.
