98Rock 97.9FM, Baltimore – Maryland Perspectives – When you talk about health and wellness in Baltimore you are bound to bring the Living Classrooms Foundation into the conversation. The foundation is vital for helping a lot of under served and now more impoverished neighborhoods with education, job training, jobs and giving former inmates a way to return to society after they have been incarcerated. Their Safe Streets program has saved so many lives as we see the spike in gun violence across Baltimore. President and CEO James Bond joins me to talk about how the foundation is still doing important work during the pandemic, who is helping them feed families, provide needed devices so children can still learn virtually and how you can get involved. They are also very active on Facebook.
