Maritime Magic Rising Stars Celebration will take place on Friday, October 1st at 6:00pm with a pre-awards ceremony leading into the Maritime Magic party!

Guests of Rising Star Honorees can purchase tickets to the Rising Stars celebration here. Your ticket will give you access to the Rising Stars celebration at 6pm in the Founders Room of our Douglass-Myers Maritime Park campus (1417 Thames Street Fells Point), followed by access to Living Classrooms' Maritime Magic benefit party (also onsite), which will take place until 12:30am.

Ticket cost: $110 in advance and $120 at the door

IMPORTANT TICKETING INFORMATION:

  • Whether you purchase your tickets online, by phone, or via check- you will have the opportunity to write down the name of the honoree you are supporting. Please be sure to indicate the name of the Rising Star you are supporting so that he/she can be credited for your purchase.
  • Tickets will be mailed to you or can be picked up at will call.
  • Tickets purchased online after Monday, September 27th will not be mailed and can be picked up at will call.

Maritime Magic Rising Stars is a select group of young professionals (under age 40), who are recognized for their outstanding achievements in their professional and personal lives, and who are honored at Maritime Magic and in the media for their efforts. Rising Stars will participate in various networking opportunities throughout the year, and become ambassadors and supporters of Living Classrooms' education and job-training programs.

Maritime Magic is an annual party that benefits Living Classrooms’ education programs. Over 2,000 guests enjoy fine food and beverages from over 50 of the area's top restaurants, live music, a fabulous silent auction, festive ambiance, and a beautiful waterfront setting. Past musical acts include performances by Los Lobos, Little Feat, The English Beat, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Clarence Clemons, The Bridge, and many more!
